PROJECT 1B: PRECEDENT STUDIES TO SUBJECT MATTERS

For this project, we are required to come out with an interest and obsession and subject matter that we are able to project it visually with great in-depth research and deconstruct of its multi-layered definition and characters thoroughly. For this project, the interest that I choose is rice as I like rice very much.

PROGRESSION

When I have printed this infographic board, I feel like this board still have some improvements so that to make it looks more interesting. So, I decided to make some pop up effects. The things that I chose to change with are the pie chart and the title of the board.

FINAL OUTCOME

I cut the image of the rice bag and put some real rice onto it so that it won't look flat and this will also help to deliver what title that I am doing. To make the board looks more interesting, I chose one of the main information which is the pie chart and cut it out. Then, I put in real rice to show the pie chart.

REFLECTION:

From this project, I have learnt to conceptualize ideas from design thinking. I have also done many research for this project and I didn't know that there are actually may types of rice and I have learnt about how the rice been grown, harvested and process of packaging.
