PROJECT 2: FUNCTIONAL MACHINE

We are required to use recycling materials such as old television, bottles, unwanted phones and so on to produce another functional machine. We could use components inside the unwanted materials and make another new product and thing that i chose to do is people mover.The unwanted materials that i used for this project is telephone.

I used the earpiece of the phone and slowly developed it into a people mover which is a magnetic double decker bus (MDDB). The earpice as the roof and floor of the bu; the button as the seats of the bus; magnet component inside the earpiece as the magnet under the bus. The function of MDDB is to help people to avoid heavy traffic jam at the same time replacing the use of fuel. Also, it replaces the old steel wheel and track trains to help people to reach their destination as soon as possible. Below are pictures of views of MDDB:

Components and funtions：
Roof of MDDB: To provide protection from bad weather such as raining and also sheltered the people from part of the sunlight.
Windshields : - Protect the bus's occupants from wind and flying debris.
- Allow the people to see the view at the front.
Balcony : Function in space extension.
Seater : Provide comfortable condition for people during their ride.
Ladder : Enable people to enter the second deck of the bus easier,
Supporter : - Placed at the wall.
- To support the weight of the second deck of the bus.
Window : For a better air ventilation.
Maget : - Enable the bus to make connection to the magnetic track.
- Help to replace the use of fuel.
