PROJECT 1

This assignment is to talk about what thing that we found is interesting and what is the reason of choosing the item. The thing that I found interesting is refrigerator because refrigerator is actually one of our best friends in our life as it brings a lot of benefits and convenience to our life especially in a hot weather.

There are some parts and functions of the refrigerator that I am going to share about, they are handle, egg tray, crisper and magnetic gasket. The function of the handle is to enable people to open the door easier; the egg tray is a space for keeping the eggs so that they won't broken easily; the crisper is an enclosed environment so it is more suitable to keep fresh fruits and vegetables as the crisper helps to prevent moisture from escaping as rapidly; the magnetic gasket is to determine the life of the refrigerator air-compressor to a great extend.

There are also some views of the refrigerator and process of how the refrigerator works to keep the air temperature inside the fridge is always cool. At first, the compressor constricts the refrigerant vapor, raising its temperature, and pushes it into the coils outside the refrigerator. Then, it becomes liquid when the hot gas in the coils meet the cooler air temperature of the kitchen. After that, the high pressure liquid cools down the refrigerant as it flows into the coils inside the freezer and the fridge. The refrigerant cools down the air by absorbing the heat inside the fridge. The refrigerant evaporates to a gas, flows back to the compressor, where the cycle starts all over.
