This week's lecture is about Modernism and picture below is our lecturer, Mr. Choy Chun Wei, was giving us lecture about modernism.


Modernism refers to the board movement in Western arts and literature that gathered pace from around 1850, and is characterised by a deliberate rejection of the styles of the past; emphasising instead innovation and experimentation in forms, materials and techniques in order to create artworks that better reflected modern society.

Here are some artwork produced by a Swiss-German artist, Paul Klee..



His artwork is always included art movement such as surrealism, cubism and so on an I think these are interesting artwork as he draw his feeling inside the artwork.
