ASSIGNMENT 4 : PAINT TO MUSIC

BLACK AND WHITE
So we need to listen to musics and paint out feelings out for this assignment and this assignment is quite interesting for me because I like to listen to musics. For the first one in the photo, the music that inspired me to do this is 'FREE BIRD FEAT'. So I cut the black paper into many triangles to represent feather of bird .I pasted it onto a white paper and black paper with white colour triangles is pasted under the white one.
PEACOCK
The first drawing in this picture is painted with messy style and the music that inspired me to do this is ' THE BONDS' . I feel like it was telling me to set it free and that's why I cut out three circles from the drawing
I was inspired by the music which is 'SOUND OF SILENCE' for the second drawing in the picture. I cut out some parts of it and pasted it onto A3 paper and those parts that I cut out are pasted in the other position to show the other design of it.
The song that inspired me to do the first drawing in the picture is 'YOU GOTTA BE' . At first I painted it using few black lines, on the other hand, I painted some black flowers and cut it into pieces and they are pasted onto the black lines drawing. After that, drew some black lines again that represent sunlight at the right side of the paper because it is a positive sided music.
'ONE FOR U' is the music that inspired me to draw a girl with tears for the second drawing in the picture which the composer of it is DJ Okawari. I could imagine that a girl is crying sadly while listening to this music and this is a sad music to me. To make it more different, I used pen to make a lot of dots and lines for this although it took me a very long time.
COLOUR
The music that inspired me to paint the first drawing shown in the picture is'NATURALLITY'.
It gave me a free feeling and I could imagine the natural environment in my mind. So I just combined the natural and freedom in my drawing and it really works!
For the second drawing in the picture, the music that inspired me is named 'FLOWER DANCE'. To match with this music, I used marbling that I've done before and cut a few drawings to paste it onto the marbling. I made the pieces of papers in flower shape and it really looks like the flower is dancing!
The first one in the picture is inspired by the music named 'MINAMO' It's quite a nice music and I used one of my marbling works and framed it using black paper.
The music that inspired me to do the second one in the picture is named 'FOLLOWING THE DREAM' . This music is full of mixed feelings and that's the reason I cut many pieces of marbling and made it into a complicated design
The first one is drawn with a dancer in it and the body of the dancer is full of many paper pieces. This is inspired by a music named 'BREATHLESS'
The second one is from the music 'BLUEBIRD STORY' and this is quite peaceful music and I did this design that I imagined from the music and I did this with neat in messy.
FINAL ARTWORK
CLASSICAL MUSIC
The name of the classical music for this artwork is 'REQUIEM' and the composer of this music is Mozart. This classical music is quite fast and this inspired me to do collage on this artwork. I used different marbling and cut out the shape of the boat and also the waves
CONTEMPORARY MUSIC
The name of the music is 'MY WORLD', it is a girl wearing a crown in this artwork and this is done using marbling too. The music for this is quite slow and I think it's suitable for this artwork.
